"Heads up: this generator started feeling cheap fast"
Just a warning for anyone thinking about buying this generator: mine started running rough after only about two weeks of use. At first it seemed okay, but it quickly began to feel kind of cheaply made and not very reliable. I wouldn’t feel comfortable depending on it, especially if you need something steady in an emergency.

I called tech support because I wasn’t totally sure which generator to get, and they was really helpful with my questions. I did have to sit on hold for a bit, which wasn’t great, but once I got someone, they walked me through it and helped me feel good about the choice. Overall, it was a good experience

I bought a standby generator from Electric Generators Direct last year, and overall it’s been really dependable. We’ve had two power outages since then, and it kicked on both times without any real hassle. Shipping went smoothly too, and so far the unit has done exactly what I needed. The only thing I’ve noticed is it takes a few seconds to fully kick in, which may be totally normal, but has anyone else had the same issue? Overall, I’m happy with it.

"shipping took way too long"
i ordered a generator thinking it would go out quickly, but the shipping ended up taking way longer than i expected. the tracking barely updated, so i kept having to check on it myself. customer service was okay, but they never really gave me a clear idea of when it would actually arrive. the generator did show up in good condition, but the wait was frustrating.

I ordered a generator and the tracking process was annoying. The status just sat there unchanged for days, so I kept having to check it myself with no real update. I called customer service hoping they could tell me something useful, but I got transferred around and still didn’t get much more information than what was already on the website. The generator did eventually show up, but the whole waiting and tracking situation was stressful, especially for such a big purchase. I expected better.
